Reliability

When VoIP telephony is mentioned today, many people immediately have concerns about reliability. At i.c. phone solutions, we have pioneered a solution! With our system, your inbound and outbound calls primarily go through your analog phone line(s), from a provider such as AT&T¹. The VoIP channels only act as line capacity expansions so your phones are always ready and able to make call, even if the public internet is out! Additionally, depending on the size of your business, we can implement a Quality of Service application on your company network to ensure your voice data traffic comes over your network with the highest priority. As to the system platform, we build our systems on industry-approved Dell PowerEdge servers with business-class CPU, memory, dual hard drives in mirror array under a hardware RAID controller, and strongly recommend a Universal Power Supply (UPS) for the server, if your office does not employ one already.

Branch offices or remote user integration

The integration of branch offices or remote users has never been so efficient. With our recommended VPN-capable routers, your remote users connect to the phone servers in your office via VPN, thus giving them the ability to receive calls, make outbound calls, all securely through your main phone system, even if they are accessing it from a remote location! i.c. phone solutions can also connect the servers in each of your branches via VPN, including your locations overseas! Just dial the 4 or 5 digit extension number you’d like to reach at your other location and you are making an “inter-office” call, for FREE².

Open Architecture

Unlike the colossal VoIP phone system providers (Cisco, Nortel, etc.), i.c. phone solutions does not lock you into purchasing any specific brand, manufacturer, model of IP phones, soft phones, licensing, analog cards, VoIP providers, etc. Of course we require the use of standard hardware and software in order for your system to run at an optimal level, but we give you the ability to choose and/or upgrade components as you see necessary or to keep in line with your business growth model.

Delivery
In today’s marketplace, the wait times experienced in various industries are not only extraordinarily high…they are just not acceptable, especially when your business performance depends on the purchased product/service! i.c. phone solutions has set an industry standard of system delivery within 30 days of contract signing, with the typical small business installation (15 extensions) taking only 15-20 days, including server setup time and installation! Additionally, we do accept urgent orders where we will work with your timing to be sure to get the job done when your require it done (i.e. you are moving into a new office, etc.).
1: Due to the uncertainty of the public Internet, we always choose the analog      phone lines as your primary lines. Thus your phone service will not be      shutdown even if the Internet is down sometimes.
2: Stable broadband Internet access needed.
